9/30- 10/15 Dracut’s Writing Initiative Results

Below are the totals for the first week of Dracut’s Writing Initiative!

1ST PLACE: B Block with 115.5 pages!

2ND PLACE: G Block with 115 pages!

3RD PLACE: F Block with 110.5 pages!

This Week’s Winner of Dracut’s Writing Initiative is BLOCK B!!

We will be celebrating their win on Tuesday, 10/29, during long block. I will generating a survey to tally results regarding food options/ allergies/ food preferences.

I will also be gathering the individual achievements results out of all three classes, and bestowing an award to those who were over achievers during this initiative. I will write a follow up post regarding these results.

The next biweekly writing competition has already began! Keep writing in order to boost the chances that you might win!

This is just a reminder that Spirit week is among us! Below is the scheduled attire for that week, 10/21 to 10/25, along with the Pep Rally date and period:

Monday 10/21 Luau Lovers (wear any Hawaiian garb you might have!)

Tuesday 10/22 Breast Cancer Awareness (wear all things pink!)

Wednesday 10/23 Wayback Wednesday (throw on an oldie!)

Thursday 10/24 Matching Day/ “Squad” Day

Friday 10/25 Middies Pride Day!

The pep rally will take place during E Block, Friday 10/25.
