Dear students in Blocks B, F and G:
In the next couple of weeks our class we will be heading down to the Learning Commons (D107) in order to complete the MANDATORY Cornerstone Assessment.
This is a writing task (long-composition) that allows the school to determine a baseline for your writing skills, based on the Massachusetts State Standards.
For Blocks B and F: we will be completing this assessment during long block next Tuesday, 10/15.
For Block G: we will be completing this assessment during long block on Thursday, 10/31.
This assessment will be marked on your Q1 report card. Participation in this assessment is MANDATORY. Any student that is absent on either of these test dates MUST go to the Learning Commons after school and take the assessment then.
In essence, please be present the day our blocks are scheduled and ready to write.
